SPECIALIZATION
IN REHABILITATION SCIENCES [Formerly: Specialization in Biomechanics]
The purpose of this specialization is to provide students with further knowledge of the anatomy, mechanics and neuromotor control of normal and abnormal movements, as well as injury and rehabilitation. The emphasis in the required coursework is on understanding measurement and the scientific bases of body structure and function with particular reference to health related concerns and prevention of injuries in sport and exercise.
