A NOTE ABOUT COSTS (if any): Ideally, a presentation will cost the
host organization nothing. If an honorarium is offered, I will accept
and sign the check over to the SDSU Baylor Brooks Scholarship Fund,
an award presented to some of the best of our beginning geology students.
Presentations are intended for the greater San Diego area. Expenses
will not be charged if the round-trip distance is less than a tank of gas.
Thus the Riverside, Los Angeles and Orange County areas are included. The
host organization should expect to pay expenses at greater distances, particularly
if air fare and lodging are involved. The goal will always be to
keep costs at a minimum.
