 a monthly/weekly/daily planner (preferably, the latest

The Blackboard course site provides access to course-related information. It will be
use to communicate with you as a group and individually via e-mail. Blackboard is located at
http://blackboard.sdsu.edu/. Login with your username (Red ID) and
password.
This course is graded Credit/No Credit. To receive credit, you must:
 attend class and participate in class activities
NOTE: if you have two or more absences from class you will not receive credit.

- read the assigned chapters in Focus on College Success (see Course Outline, below),
- meet with your instructor in his office, and
- write a letter to an incoming freshman, due by December 8th, our last day of class;
your letter will be on one or more topics of concern to you
