Welcome to the official website for the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society with San Diego State University. We are getting ready for the Spring 2007 semester and have many great activities planned. All our latest news will be posted here.

Are there any requirements to be in the club?

The Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society is a club for undergraduate students. You do not have to be a chemistry major to be in the club, we encourage all majors to join.

How do I become a member of the club?

To join the club you must turn in an application. You can download the application on our website. Turn it in at any scheduled meeting or in the Chemistry Department in GMCS 209.

When are the club's meetings?

If you would like to come to our meetings you can join our mailing list and we will keep you informed of all events and opportunities. We will also post all the latest news on the website.

What are the benefits of joining the club?

By being a member you will get the opportunity to meet the Chemistry Department faculty. Many of your colleagues are members, meet with some of the brightest students in the university. Through our relationship with the Chemistry Department you will have the opportunity to view the universies research labs. A more detailed list of benefits can be seen on our website.

Can I become an officer for the club?

We are always interested in getting help from students. If you would like to pursue a leadership role within the club contact us and we will set up a meeting.
